Editorial Policy
DensityCalcs editorial policy prioritizes accurate formulas, transparent assumptions, original explanations and source quality over filling pages with search phrases.
Source hierarchy
Preference is given to standards bodies, government/scientific agencies, primary technical sources and peer-reviewed material. High-quality secondary references may be used for practical context when primary sources are not appropriate or easily accessible.
Competitor research and originality
Competitor calculators may be reviewed to understand common features, user expectations and gaps. DensityCalcs does not copy competitor prose. Articles and interfaces are written independently around the underlying public formulas, user needs and verified sources.
Keyword use
Related search terms are used only when they fit the topic naturally. Misspellings and duplicate phrases are not stuffed into visible copy. Closely related intents may share a page when the underlying calculation is genuinely the same.
Medical and safety-sensitive content
High-stakes topics receive conservative wording, clear limitations and stronger sourcing. The site does not turn a calculation into diagnosis, treatment, equipment selection or regulatory approval.
Authorship and credentials
Public authorship is disclosed. Academic, medical or engineering credentials are never fabricated. If professional review is not available, the page relies on transparent methodology and authoritative references rather than pretending otherwise.
Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected when identified, and calculation logic is retested. See the Accuracy & Corrections Policy for the workflow.
